I love group work! The rootedness in community, shared experience, and learning from one another is incredibly powerful, and often complements the deeply personal connection formed in one-on-one therapy. These groups are not therapy or treatment groups, but are instead intended to teach skills and build connection. All groups begin with a 30 minute individual session to ensure you’re prepared for the process.

Mind-Body Skills Group: Based on the structure developed by the Center for Mind Body Medicine (CMBM), this eight session group meets once per week and teaches a range of practices to decrease stress, build healthy coping skills, and contribute to a broader, more balanced perspective on life. While there can be benefits for a range of psychiatric conditions from this group format, it is not intended as a formal treatment.

Intake (30 minutes): $300

Group Package (120 minutes, 8 sessions): $800

The Heart of Practice—A Shared Journey for Physicians: Inspired by my own experiences and those of so many friends, peers, and mentors, this group offers a space for physicians of all specialities to learn and connect over the shared calling of medicine. Through guided exercises, reflections and group interaction, we will explore what being a healer means in the modern world, from personal motivations, hopes and fears to institutional challenges, changes and dynamics.

Intake (30 minutes): $300

Group Package (120 minutes, 8 sessions): $800

Weekday Mindfulness Meet-up: I have spent ample time exploring mindfulness and enjoy sharing these skills. Having a supportive group to practice meditation with is a great way to stick with a practice and learn new techniques. This is a 30-minute drop-in group held once per week on Friday mornings and is open to all current patients. We’ll start with a simple guided meditation, flow into a period of silent sitting practice, and end with time for sharing and reflection.
